Noteworthy is their house special noodle dish featuring paneer or tofu, blending delicate Indian seasoning with Chinese cooking traditions.

Customer feedback reveals a venue in evolution. Some diners appreciate Mehfil’s home-cooked flavor and generous portions, praising its role as a neighborhood staple for healthy, balanced vegetarian fare. Visited on a Monday evening, place felt low-energy, possibly understaffed due to being weekday. The ambiance has improved, and it looks like more changes are coming. Food was a mix: methi paratha and dabeli were nice. Malai kofta had bland koftas, and cholle bhature didn’t quite work: the cholle didn’t suit the dish, and the bhaturas weren’t puffed or restaurant-style. Personally, I preferred the flavors at Ritu ki Rasoi on previous 2 visits, but Mehfil seems to be evolving. Hope to see more improvements.

We visited this restaurant for a family dinner (group of four) and found it to be a decent spot for vegetarian Indian cuisine. The food was satisfactory—not particularly outstanding, but nothing to complain about either. The ambiance was comfortable, though the staff’s enthusiasm could have been better. While service wasn’t bad, a bit more warmth and engagement would have made the experience more enjoyable. Overall, a reasonable choice for a simple vegetarian meal, but nothing extraordinary.

Mehfil is my go to for authentic Indian food and is well regarded in the Indian community for quality and healthy vegetarian fare. They have a wonderful variety of dishes to try and their buffets are to die for. The food has a home cooked taste to it. I always look forward to bringing family and friends here, who also rave about the taste and array of options to enjoy!

Good food and quantity as well. Pricing is also reasonable. Vada Sambar was the Best. They are also good with the Chinese dishes. Make sure not to order any starter with gravy as we won't get that feel of eating the starter as it is mostly filled with gravy . Fresh food as well and we'll mainted restaurant.

Under the same management as ritu ki rasoi. Not sure it happens every Friday evening - the Friday we went had live music … It was a bit too loud for my taste and didn’t enhance the dining experience on the contrary it was a distraction. Food wise portions are bigger which justifies the price, however my taste buds were not stimulated to say the least. One good thing though it didn’t have a lot of the commercial sauces, felt more like something you prepare at home. One thing I wouldn’t recommend is the masala tea, I like my tea to be strong and with more milk, this is a watered down version. Indo Chinese was decent. Wada Pav was good, gajar halwa was toooooo sweet ..

While the food is decent and few dishes are delicious, the service is very disappointing. We have been here on weekends and the staff is untrained and quite frankly uninterested in their job, you have to ask twice for the water to be served. But one thing they would be interested in is the tip. So it's a place where you can prefer takeouts but don't bring your guest for dine in as the experience would leave you embarrassed. I hope the owner spends some time in educating the staff.

Yummy vegetarian food, best of Boston! Always had a great experience, never disappointed with the quality and taste. Been there yesterday and ordered the same veg Hakka noodle and Gobi Manchuria dry, it was amazing. The quantity was huge and taste unchanged, love this place

Indian restaurant with lots of options. The food was good with enough quantity to share. We enjoyed everything that we ordered. The Indo-chinese food was a little spicier than other places. Lowered rating because of the unfriendly attitude of the lady server - smile and be courteous when you are in a customer facing environment.
